This is the absolute worst post office. The staff are rude and unprofessional. They are arrogant and uncaring. They cannot handle tasks such as police checks. They do not know their own policy and tried to overcharge me 60 dollars for something that was only 30 dollars. I called Australia Post customer service and they confirmed that The Gap franchise had no clue what they were doing. Awful customer service too. I have been there on a few occasions and they have been so unhelpful and dismissive.
Sadly, the other comments on the staff at this Australia Post are correct. The staff are very rude, unfriendly, and unprofessional. I don't understand why these people choose to work in a customer focused role when they so clearly do not like interacting with members of the public.
Australia Post needs to train their staff in providing customer service, particularly at this store.
I am shcokcked at the unprofessional, unhelpful, recalcitrant behaviour of staff over a two hour period. The two younger male staff were helpful the others are seriously depressed and not wanting to be there. Had the feeling they despised customers and their jobs. Just go to city or Mt Omaney, until they have better management its not worth the pain they will inflict on you.
I will never return to this Australia Post office following the rude, condescending and appalling lack of customer service I have received on numerous occasions. Staff are unfriendly, unhelpful and bad mannered. Their attitude seriously undervalues and compromises Australia Post.
