Auto Quacks

Had an emergency after my son put petrol in a diesel 4WD and drove from Lilydale to Mansfield. The car wouldn't start and by chance I rang Auto Quacks on a Sunday morning. Andrew helped get the car to his workshop and was kind enough to look at it on a Sunday. Tank was removed & cleaned out, filter replaced and filled with diesel and survived. Throughout the process Andrew was extremely competent and on the ball, but most of all extremely helpful. I couldn't imagine better service and his fee was way less than expected. By co-incidence I found out that the football club I am involved with some of the players have used his services in Mansfield also and spoke very highly of him. Highly recommended ??

had my brakes done at auto quacks and a clunk in the front looked at. not only was the problem fixed perfectly it was explained to my partner step by step so he could perform the maintenance in future. thank you DUCKY :)

Very disappointed with the service provided, He over priced parts which I had then found for less than half the price quoted to me by this mechanic. Had another and more experienced mechanic look at my car, someone who is a bit older and was recommended to me also. Found that auto quacks had been negligent in regards to my bearings not being tightened properly and the quoted part wasn't needed, just a few screws to be loosened under the bonnet near the part to fix the issue. Glad I sought a second opinion before spending hundreds on something I didn't need, not overly impressed with being asked to pay in cash either.
