I LOVE LOVE LOVE this book store. Wide selection of books. They got nice, friendly staff too.

One of my favourite book stores in the area. Not the best café, however. The concept is cool though.

I like the idea. Not overly impressed with the actual restaurant though. Vibe was chaotic. Not because of people, but because of layout. If I were coming to have a nice, relaxing meal or read, I wouldn't come here. There is a nice covered area out the back, but I still felt a bit claustrophobic.

Avid Reader is a must visit for all those in the West End area. It is very personable and the service is amazing. It has one of the most local feels for a cafe in West End. The food is great and has decent vegetarian options too. Not to mention, the bookshop consists of the best names in any industry. Many a gifts have been purchased from here, and there's also the best of the quirky too. What a great idea to merge a cafe with a bookshop.

Avid Reader is the centre of West End, in many ways. It's a place you go to where there will always be someone you haven't seen for ages, or your next door neighbour. The staff know what tea, coffee, books, dvd's you like and can recommend all kind of presents for the hardest people in the world to buy for. It's like a local meeting hall, but with great music and food and very good company.
