A delightful first time experience throughout (one Saturday afternoon)
Reception, both by phone and F2F, was 'naturally' pleasant (as distinct from stiffly polite) as well as professional and efficient.
Veterinary doctor was friendly and communicative. Examination was thorough yet speedy, without being hurried. Advice given was very helpful. Additional help was given without charge.
Very good opening hours. No appointments required. This avoids the artificial distinction between an 'emergency' visit and a 'regular' one and therefore the costs are not inflated just because your pet suddenly needs professional help. Nice.

Have been a few times and always very impressed by the whole experience. No need to book, never had to wait long, staff are extremely friendly and reassuring, and the price has always been very reasonable. My dog, who becomes anxious visiting the vet following a traumatic experience as a puppy, has actually become less fearful of going since I started taking him here, thanks to the continued efforts of the staff to set him at ease. Highly recommended!
The vet is not interested in helping your pet if its 5 minutes to closing time. They would rather send you and your paying business away. I will tell all my friends & neighbours not to bother with this vet anymore. The opening hours should be changed to say no appointments close to closing time.
