In a word - surprising? Not what you expect when you walk through the doors. Inside is like a small Westfield - multiple bars, restaurants, dining areas, a brewery, a cinema (?)... pokies obviously too. The basement brewhouse is an unexpectedly pleasant place for a group catchup - decent food and drink, large space, not too noisy. recommend
Bankstown Sports Club certainly know how to entertain. I keep forgetting how large this place is including the amount of food outlets they have here, it is certainly a foodies haven! The food always impresses whether it at the bistro or one of the specialty restaurants, service is good too. We come here from time to time to watch performances as well. The gaming area does get busy and loud at times, however, this place is always fun to come back to.
Parking is exceptional. You can also walk it from Bankstown station.
The facilities here is 5??dining and entertainment.
This is one of Sydney's true family friendly clubs because if it's facilities and layout.
An experience for young families during the day and definitely for the hip crowd of all ages in the evenings.
Is this place for real?
Every time I come into this place I'm blown away at how incredibly big it is.
They have dozens and dozens of restaurants (who are actually beyond “Sports club” standards), hold events, have conference rooms for hire, have some kind of rainforest with ponds, massive multi-level parking. cinemas, heaps of bars and pokies for the group who are feeling lucky.
Despite the fact I usually come along with a group of friends who come for dinner or to watch a major sporting game, I never feel uncomfortable here like I do in other sporting club places, since it’s so family and kids friendly. I’ve also found the staff to be really helpful and friendly.
This place has it going on, goldfish and all.
