Beachfront Holiday Resort, a four and a half star destination holiday park, is the ideal resort for family holidays or a lazy weekend escape and is located 30 metres from the beach with 600 metres of absolute beach frontage on Blackhead Beach. There are two walkways to the beach. The holiday resort offers various styles of accommodation ranging from Deluxe Ocean Villas and Holiday Surf Villas to powered sites. A large range of leisure activities to accommodate all guests are provided including tennis, basketball, beach volleyball, table tennis, trampoline, two swimming pools and a large playground.

After staying in units/cabin at the weekend we would not recommend these units. The cleanliness was not acceptable, dead cockroaches on floor and squashed on back of bathroom door ( as well as live ones) dead spiders on floor, mould under the toilet seat, over head fan dirty. When we turned the shower on shower base was full of dirt and dust, it had not been cleaned. After paying top dollar to stay in the advertised 4.5 star holiday resort park, Beachfront Holiday Resort, I can tell you that we were extremely disappointed and would not recommend, based on our personal experience, to anyone. From the first day when we were checking in, we arrived at 2pm after a lengthy 7 hour trip to be told (and correctly) that the check-in time was 2.30pm. No, we could not even park the car in our alloted car space for the half hour. Playing safe returned at 2.50pm, looking forward to "dumping the gear" & heading to the beach. No, the cabins were not ready, they were still being cleaned, would be another 45 mins. at least! Frustration! The staff at the front desk had the "it happens all the time & really don't care" attitude. Great, 2hrs after check in time finally get to the cabin, slide the front screen door open which is broken, falls to the ground, good start! Air conditioning that is advertised is 1 ceiling fan over meals area. Not much help ...read more
