Home designed from scratch with this builder. Due to nature of the process of designing many revisions were necessary to achieve the ideal plan/design. Bellmarch then decided to impose additional charges to cover revision work which wasn't explained in contract (that is how many revisions before additional charges would be incurred). Once DA was approved it almost felt like the building schedule was based on the maximum time frame of the building window disclosed within the contract. This may have been they couldn't find trade people or contractors for the area we were building at the time. This placed accessible strain on the family, particularly as progress updates and scheduled work kept being delayed and building manager wasn't able to keep to commitments made to us. Over priced special finishes or specifications were poorly and even damaged by builders/tradespeople on installation and all Bellmarch did was patch the damage which isread more
I agree with everything in this post. Quality of the work is bad, communications are bad, no responsibility for issues (they pass the buck) and senior management is more concerned with quoting lines out of the contract than actually helping to resolve the issues.
Stay away from this mob!
