Berowra Waters Inn

Easily the best dining experience I have had in Sydney was at Berowra Waters Inn. Tucked away in Berowra Waters on the Hawkesbury river and surrounded by undisturbed bushland, the restaurant showcases a different side to Sydney. The relaxing location is located only by seaplane or boat which adds to its seclusion and serenity. We got a seaplane over and I couldn't stop smiling the entire way. At Berowra Waters Inn they run a degustation lunch menu of 6 courses. It sounds like a lot but they did it so well, spacing everything out enough that you are comfortable and excited throughout the entire four hour experience. The food all just melted in your mouth and was an explosion of subtle flavour pairings that was so passionately thought through you could taste the love and care that went into the restaurant experience. I would recommend everyone try Berowra Waters Inn for that special occasion as it doesn't disappoint!

What a delightful experience! It's so exclusive, there is a private boat that takes you there. The atmosphere is so calm and relaxed, enhanced by the gorgeous water view, and the well-presented waitstaff. The set menu was incredibly refreshing and every bite was full of flavour.

Beautiful restaurant accessible only by boat on the picturesque Hawkesbury River, an hour or two north of Sydney (depending on traffic). The food is nice, but this place is all about the stunning setting and the excellent service.

A hidden treasure just an hour's drive from Sydney. The food is world-class and superbly prepared and presented. Degustation-style, but you can choose how many courses and what you want for each course from the menu. Stunning views compliment the meal nicely, with any luck a seaplane will stop by. A long and relaxing Saturday lunch? what could be better.
