My local Thai takeaway never fails to deliver, it's not the most authentic or innovative Thai cuisine around, but it's well executed and very tasty.
Their Green Curry is perfect for a rainy night in, they use a home made paste and it really makes the difference compared to some very limp green curries I've had elsewhere. The Pad Thai is quite heavy and oily, but that doesn't detract from the fact that it's bloody delicious.....my waistline may grumble, but my stomach is very content. Other notable dishes are the Pad See Ew and Pad Kee Mao, also very good.
One to avoid though, salt and pepper squid, the blight on Sydney Thai restaurants that just won't go away - Big Pot's version is clunky and tasteless unfortunately.
All in all, it's a great takeaway joint, serving good food at reasonable prices. I wouldn't choose it to eat in with friends, but for a lazy night at home when I don't want to cook....it's perfect.
