Blue Gem Caravan Park, the friendly fossickers park is situated in Sapphire on the banks of Retreat Creek. Learn how to find your own Sapphires in their Fossicking Park then you can wander down to the creek and do some digging for yourself and maybe find the Big One! They can also organise a Fossicking Tour. The facilities they offer in their shop are open 7.00 a.m. until 7.00 p.m. daily and they supply groceries, fuel, gas, ice, takeaway food, souvenirs, jewellery sales, fossicking/camping licences, hire equipment and much more.

The Blue Gem Caravan Park was a lovely place to stay. They were very welcoming, helpful and lived up to their motto. "No Strangers Here, Just Friends You Haven't Met Yet", They also allow dogs, have a camp kitchen, hot showers, an a creek to fossick in or buckets of Sapphire wash for you to purchase, no need to travel any further, this park has it all. Thank you to the Owners an the Staff. We look forward to staying with you again, Cheers. :-)
