This is basically a themed pub. In fact the guy who owns this pub has another themed pub in Kent Town The Tap Inn (though that one if golf themed). Out of the two of them I would have to say that this one is much better because the theme is British India. I've been here a couple of times, but not as often as I would like simply because the atmosphere is nothing short of awesome. Unlike many restaurants you have numerous private rooms which you can book for your dinner party (we had one when we came here for a meal a few years back) as well as this non-smoking outdoor area called the garden. However what I love about this place is that everywhere you look you see colonial India. The atmosphere is nothing short of awesome. If you are looking for a place for a dinner party, then this is definitely a place to check out

I've been wanting to give this place a try for ages now, I drive pass it all the time. Decided to catch up with some girlfriends here the other week and wow, we were so full! The food was really satisfying and filling, the staff were lovely and the place itself was pretty cool. I actually didn't picture it the way it did look inside, very detailed in each section. I would come back and also recommend this place.

Appalling attitude towards workers. Average food.

Do not make a habit of reviewing - only 2nd time - but it needs to be said...... Terrible service! Our group of 5 were put on a table for 6 (reserved for another group) and then that group of 6 young men were squished into our supposed table! Barely enough room for their plates. And requested a main which came out as an entree size and not what ordered (even after going to great lengths to make it clear) - i.e. the main component of the meal was meant to be roasted pumpkin and sweet potato - but neither of these ingredients were even included! and then when complained about this, staff was rude and very abrupt - staff was the one who mixed up the tables also - so not the sharpest tool in the shed. The food was below par too. The only thing going for this place is the different decor - making it look unique. Will not be going there again - and suggest you avoid it too.
