My family has been going to this vet for over 20years Before the new management they did a wonderful job and I would have highly recommended them. However since then its sad to admint I cannont say the same thing. When our 2year old husky was a pup he ingested almost an enitre bottle of power steering fluid he had found, panicked I had called the vet to let them know that we were coming down due to that reason. The receptionist was not listening clearly on the phone and was asking me how much chocolate he had consumed. To make her comprehend what I was saying I had to tell her that our pup had consumed motor vechicle power steering fulid. When she finally understood she said that they were booked out and that he should be fine, if I was concerend I should take him to another vet. Admittedly I did get mad and they did squeeze me in. They are fantastic Vets who really care for your Pets and they have been at it for years. I recently took our poor old (blind & deaf) Cocker in to have an ugly cancerous looking lump removed. It was big and I honestly thought that her time had come. The Doctors there were fantastic, they removed the growth, cleaned and removed teeth and provided me with a report (healthy one) saying that my old girl had good years left in her. I can't thank them enough.
Cartmill's Vet Surgery is fantastic. The reception staff are very friendly and caring. The vets are very professional and sympathetic. when my cat suffered with tic paralysis, the vets were very quick to attend to him even though they had just finished surgery. The surgery has been very accommodating with allowing myself and my children to visit our furry friend. They offer an all round fantastic service. I highly recommend them to anyone who loves their pets and wants the best for them.
