With exposed brick walls, a well appointed bar and London references throughout the menu, Bricklane N12 is a somewhat unexpected find in Belfield among the casual fast food outlets and barbers and hairdressers.
The self-proclaimed espresso wine bar offers Campos coffee that is strong and floral, and the baked goods are made on-site, including an intriguing sounding scoffin (a cross between a scone and muffin). I'm a big fan of breakfast and there's plenty on the menu to tempt. A return visit is definitely in order.
