This place looks like it has been around for quite a while, despite the fact that Mernda is actually quite a new suburb. Mind you it is pretty clear that it has had a complete revamp and what used to be a small country pub is now quite a large outer suburbs pub. I've been here a couple of times, namely because I went for a trek up to Whittlesea and decided to jump off the bus here just to check the place out, and to have a beer. The entrees were another thing, two of my guests ordered ...read more
