Have been a number of times to the bistro. The atmosphere isn't great and its a bit of a hangout for oldies, but the food is reasonably priced but just average. Its in a good spot to stop right behind the bicycle track but the place is a bit tired and feels a bit like a drive through bottle-o with a bistro attached. It needs to be returned to its former glory and re-capture the old world feel of the better pubs in Ballarat. If they moved the bottle-o away and opened up the pub a bit it would be a lot nicer.

crap food crap service and i will never return there again.
they need the old owners back the new one are rude and seriously do not want buisness they can not run the pub to save them self...
Disappointing to read your comments. Your experience at the Brown Hill Hotel was prior to us taking over the business! We took over the pub in 2012 and would love to welcome you back sometime..
