What a breathtaking experience it was in the purchase of a motor vehicle from this professional and accomplished team of individuals that were involved in the trade-in process and my subsequent purchase of a Nissan Pathfinder from BMG. The team at BMG showed sincere and honest empathy toward my needs and expectations with absolutely zero pressure and devoid of the usual car salesman theatrics prevail in the industry. Accordingly I rate this experience as exceptional and do so without comparing it to my most recent prior experience which incidentally was a nightmare. This experience was amplified in the days following delivery of my vehicle with follow-up phone calls to understand how "things were going" and is without doubt a benchmark for others to challenge. These people sold us a brand new car which had no end of faults-multiple electrical problems and a really dangerous fault that caused the car to accelerate without cause while driving. They tried and failed for four years to fix he problem, meanwhile my insurance company voided the insurance on it due to an irreparable fault that made the vehicle unroadworthy and dangerous to drive. ACCC advised me that I am entitled to a refund or replacement under law after reviewing the case but ACCC can only make recommendations (despite being a government body) and cannot force a resolution leaving me to decide if I could afford a costly court battle. I could not and I suppose snake oil salesmen like those at BMG rely on the cost of court cases to their advantage. After four years I took it to Pacific Gympie (Hyundai dealer) who diagnosed and repaired the problem in about a week and I think very highly of those at Pacific Gympie. Totally hopeless. I bought a brand new KIA from them in 2012 and was getting them to service it. At the last service they didn't bother telling me that all of my tyres needed replacing and one of them came to pieces as I was driving along at 100km/hr. They also said a vibration in the engine bay was the result of stone caught in a guard, which they claimed they did not have time to rectify during the service. I decided to never go back there again after the tyres and have since taken my car to another dealer who told me that the vibration had nothing to do with a stone - it was a bent heat guard. They fixed it in about 30 seconds. It makes me wonder if they were even conducting the services! I was never once offered a hard copy of the service reports at the time of the services. I ended up asking for them 3 times and I still haven't seen any, even though they claimed they would send them immediately after the phone call ended. It is a really hopeless excuse for theread more
Excellent - we bought a used vehicle from BMG & have to say these guys were honest & extremely helpful. I couldn't recommend these guys highly enough. We came up from Brisbane to buy the car & they put us up in a motel for the night and really looked after us. Paul, Gordon & Kerrie are real friendly professionals. I'd happily buy my next vehicle from these guys again
