After shoping here for years and spending a lot of money here over those years, i asked the lady at the front of store if we could please take some boxes as we were moving. She was lovely and said yes no problem. My husband and i took 2 boxes each only to be rudely and abruptly stopped and told by another old woman at the checouts there is no way we can have 2 boxes each, the rules are 2 boxes per couple (we saw several people walking out with at least 5 boxes each just before us). I never knew this rule existed in the bunnings bible? There were no signs stating this either. Sounds like she may be making up her own rules as other employees wernt aware of this ruke either? We wont be coming back here. She made a scene and it was a bit embarrassing she was quite confrontational too. Whatever happened to customer service?? Only giving half a star as zero and negative stars are not an option.
Really bad! 3rd time in a row I've had something from the 'clearance' section.. Only to be charged full price. And I've only bought from clearance 3 times. This time, I felt they don't deserve 'my' time stuffing around to get the clearance price. So I told them forget it. Talk about a trap. I spend around $200 a week with them.. No more :)
Wow, what an experience it is shopping at Bunnings Fountain Gate! I walked in and tried, without luck, to find a staff member to assist me. I then walked about aimlessly until I eventually found what I was after. I then walked up to the only open counter, there was a line of around ten people. I thought I would try the self serve area, but it only took cards (I had cash) I then walked over to the service area (where they cut keys etc) there were three staff behind the counter, two were having a chat while cutting a key, the third was reading something... I waited here for 5 minutes (there was one person in front of me) to no avail... I then walked over to the trade area (where they sell power tools etc) and finally got served. When i walked out (feeling quite frustrated) I commented to the person at the door that they need more staff on...she replied "tell me about it..." This is my second negative review about Bunnings fountain Gate... I won't be going back there. They needread more
