Tucked away in the back streets of beach side Merewether, The Burwood Inn is a local secret known for great food and fun.The Burwood Inn is one of Newcastle's oldest pubs. Renovated in 2011, the hotel still retains some traditional charm, with a warm, inviting and fresh new look.
With a gastronomic food offering, plenty of cold beers on tap, a killer wine list and comfy places to enjoy it all, the Burwood Inn has fast become a popular Newcastle venue.
The Restaurant at The Burwood Inn offers modern Australian cuisine and traditional pub favourites, with a focus on fresh, seasonal produce. Open daily for lunch and dinner. Bookings recommended.
There are two bars for you to relax in, the traditional Front Bar and the more chilled out Lounge Bar, and regular live entertainment on Fridays and Saturdays. The Burwood Inn also hosts functions in the lounge bar or restaurant.
