The venue is not flash, so if you expect 5 star dining and atmosphere - you made a wrong turn. But if you can get over that, the food is well worth the taste and the prices are reasonable indeed. My wife had calamari and chips. I had the parma. Not at all bad. And we shared as couples always do (well we do).
We often go here. Meals are lovely. Prices are reasonable. Love the set up- old style, and you can have privacy as tables are not too close together. Staff are friendly. Only down side is it can be quite cold in there so rug up if you are visiting during winter.
I hadn't been here for over 25 years and very little has changed.
We went to the Tudor Inn for lunch today and had a great meal. The meat pie was all meat and beautifully cooked, the pastry was flaky and the mushy peas and gravy were delicious. My wife had the fish'n'chips and she loved hers too. We had a side of chips - nice and fluffy inside and crispy outside. The lemon meringue we shared after lunch was tart and tangy just like it ought to be. The waitress was friendly and the atmosphere was great. We'll be back here for sure.
If you are looking for anything fancy, this isn't for you! However... If you do want great food, reasonable prices and fantastic atmosphere then it is worth while popping in for a pot & parma. A local favourite, this is the place to watch the footy or the cricket on a sunny weekend
