My husband and I together with another couple had dinner on Friday evening at C Dine. Friday nights they have happy hour, a buck a shuck oyster and $5.00 for a wine or beer and sparkling. Great value! We had dozen oysters and then went with chef selection which consisited of 8 different meals or maybe 9 (not quite sure, though)? It was all amazing and so much on each plate. the squid dish was my husbands fav and I would have to say the beef cheeks my fav. the staff were very friendly and had great knowledge of what each meal consisited of. Cant wait to go back. Aleta
I quite liked the food here, it was really flavoursome - however the portions were tiny and they didn't bring our bill to us, despite waiting and trying to catch their attention for around 20 minutes. My friends got the gnocchi and there were about 5 pieces of gnocchi on the plate! Apparently it tasted amazing, but you can't really be full after 5 small pieces of gnocchi.
This was the worst service I have ever had in Canberra. We waited an hour for breakfast WHICH NEVER ARRIVED! Despite asking twice whether our breakfast was on it's way, it never came. The apple juice tasted of plastic, the coffee was ordinary. My husband asked for a large flat white and got a small one. Nobody was attentive to us, nobody thought to offer us a coffee whilst we waited. This place was only a quarter full, so I'd hate to imagine it on a busy night. The alleyway to the toilet smelled bad. The disabled toilet had no soap and no hand towels. All in all really disappointing and we all left hungry. It was like we were invisible....
