Terrible, terrible cafe! When my husband and I arrived we went for a special: cappuccino with two scones ($7.50) and an extra cappuccino ($4.--). The waitress approached our table with 'hi guys' which really grates on me and she asked us to pay $13.50! My husband said: shouldn't that be $11.50?! Surely the extra cappuccino is not $6.--! At first she was insistent that it was $13.50 but then she said that it was $11.50. The first waitress served us the two coffees and another waitress a bit later the scones with again: hi guy and kind of dropped the plate with the scones on the table. Terrible service! Well, the coffees were I suppose ok but I wouldn't go out of my way to order them again but the scones! They were old and dry, they were just awful.
We will never go there again. I cannot recommend this cafe at all. There are heaps of cafes in Westfield, Kotara, and they must all be better than Cafe Bon ...read more
Worst place ever. I got served a milkshake with 2 flies in it!! Not one but two. I quietly told the staff and they made me a new one, not apology was given they just acted like nothing happened which was fine but another staff was so rude and when I said excuse me staff just looked at me and ignored me. No idea why I was getting attitude when they served me up a fly milkshake
Their service is not good, they don't appear to want your business... After waiting 10 minutes one afternoon, we approached them for 2 coffee's thinking they were closed, they told us "well we're trying not to be open" and then served us cold coffee after asking for it extra hot.
If you can't smile and be friendly towards your customers and serve a good product then you shouldn't be in business. There are plenty of other wonderful coffee shops in Westfield Kotara and in the future we'll be going to them, any one of them is miles better than this one.
