Located in buzzy Crown Street towards the Cleveland Street end, Café Mint is an understated and small, yet very cool venue which serves Mediterranean inspired meals from breakfast through until dinner. The mezze list includes dolmades, Turkish bread and dips, spiced chickpeas with pumpkin, and prawns and chorizo in a hot pan. Heartier main meals such as lamb shank tagine and various salads are in the mix. The succinct wine list and personal service should impress.

We sat upstairs and ordered the Option 2 banquet menu, which was $50 per head and had a good and varied selection of everything, veggie, meat, seafood, bread & dips, haloumi etc. We had a wonderful waitress named Marta or Martina? She was really friendly, knowledgable about the food and went out of her way to make sure each individual was looked after. We had one in our group who doesn't eat coriander or cucumber, and they updated on every dish to make sure he was catered for, and that he knew exactly what was in each dish to give him comfort. Nothing was too much trouble at all.
