Well Canturbury windows are a waste of time and money. We paid extra for double glazing. Now we have wind coming in every time there is the slightest breeze. The blinds bang against the frame.
Thank you for reaching out through your review. I have spoken to the service team at our Clayton branch to see if you had been in touch with anyone there about your issue. The details you have provided were not familiar to anyone and as you have not provided your name it is hard to identify your particular order or project. So that we can assist with your issue, we will need details of the address of the property to which the windows were supplied and, if your builder has purchased the windows on your behalf, the name of your builder. The service team, without knowing the particulars of your particular situation, have suggested that a painter may have removed the window seals? In any case, it would be great if you could contact us directly so we can help you with the problem. Please call David Newton on 9549 7333 - he is aware of your review and is waiting for your call
Canterbury Windows recently supplied some timber double hung windows for a new home we are building. The selection process was easy with the sales person meeting our clients at the showroom to explain the options. Also the ordering and delivery of the windows has been stress free. We are very happy with the product and service from this window manufacturer and as builders we would happily install these windows in future jobs.
Please be aware we just had these installed by our builder and have never come across such a draughty window when shut. Our blinds literally move in front of them due to air permitted through the frame. Lucky you are not the one living in the house and paying for power bills. These windows were a total disaster for us. Our builder thought he was getting quality when they are ridiculously poor design for energy efficiency. I feel for your clients.
Waiting since April to get issues fixed. Thought everything was resolved after meeting rep Peter on site. Told 8 weeks lead time from meeting date for windows to fix errors and 3 weeks for issues to be fixed under service as we had to wait for parts to fix. Peter has not ordered these parts and sent email only to service dept last Monday when I called to ask what is happening with service (3 weeks since meeting). He told me that he had booked it all and to call service dept, all you get is a voicemail and no one from service calls you back? Even Paul GM/owner will not speak to you, just told several times he's out or he pays other people to handle these issues. I cant believe reputable builders use these people. Complete lack of courtesy and communication. After speaking with consumer affairs I have been advised to lodge with building dispute resolution, hope this review gives others some insight. Check who your builder is using, I wish I had.
