Thank you Captain Cook Cruises WA for such a wonderful day. We experienced your new Fremantle Craft Beer Tour and Cruise and what a day we had. The cruise to Fremantle was stunning and the Captain informed us about the sights along the way which was really interesting. The tour guide that took us to our 3 beer venues was such a bubbly guide who was happy to answer any questions we had. The tastings were massive and the pub lunch we had hit the spot! Definitely value for money and I will be recommending this tour to my friends. Thanks again Captain Cook!
My wife and I went on the City of Lights Dinner Cruise which took us from the Bell Tower to Fremantle and back over the space of 3 hours. Free beer, wine and soft drinks included in a all you can eat buffet which had seafood, salads, lasagna, rolled meats, meat and rice and 4 different desserts. Lovely views the whole way, a must that you take your camera. Multiple floors with the top floor all eating area and lower floor half eating area and half dance floor. A must whether you are a local or a tourist.
Cheap, free alcohol and even tackier "hors d'oeuvres" (gaudy, small plastic airplane-like trays with supermarket wrapped crackers and cheese) were on offer on the way to Waters Edge. Arriving at the winery we were seated in a shed with no air-con or airflow, and were ushered to the very ordinary buffet. The crew were again on duty, this time as servers/wait staffs. Only the cheap alcohol was free. Dessert was ordinary cake. Then ushered and rushed back to the boat. The trip back was like a bad home movie: screeching passengers, dancing in the aisles. It was so bad, the mind boggles. And this parody at $120 per head! We went out afterwards to try end the night on a better note.
A must do for all locals of Perth... Not just for tourists. Beautiful picturesque waterways and service of class and elegance. Our day trip started off with a gorgeous glass of wine from local wine makers and the day only got better... wine tasting, music, comentary, fancy meals, winery tours, live entertainment and of course the beautiful swan river. Quite the intimate cruise. A getaway without having to get away.
