I'm a regular visitor to Ceduna on business trips and love the place. One of its hidden gems is the Oyster Bar near the PIRSA fruit fly checking station, a transportable building with a deck and tables and chairs and a nice laid-back vibe. Once upon a time it was the place to buy just fresh oysters and I can think of plenty of times I snuck a couple of dozen under my arm for the flight back to Adelaide. Yes they were delicious then and yes they still are today, especially since recent times when the menu list expanded and now they do sit down and take away meals that would shame plenty of restaurants around the country. On a visit last week I went there twice because I couldn't get enough of their natural Asian oysters, a freshly shucked oyster with a dob of wasabi, a slice of pickled ginger and a drizzle of chilli sauce... boy was that good! The combo seafood pack for mains was equally epic! Nice people, great service and good food too! Crack a Corona whilst you're waiting, read more
