Channel Seven Sydney

Pyrmont, NSW, 2009
I am one of the many loyal Home and Away watchers. Time and time again it is dropped and not shown altogether or shown at a different time. It seems like Channel 7 regard it as the show that can be " moved around" or "rescheduled" whenever there is something else to be shown. Dogs behaving badly is just one example of programs which have been shown in Home and Aways time slot. Another example = Million Dollar Island. This shows very little concern for the H & A viewers. Overall it is pretty poor.
I have been around since TV started in Australia ,watching it in amazement through the shop window and for the greater part of my viewing since it has been watching channel 7. BUT____ what happened to this once great Station and who is doing the programming. Obsessed with lifestyle programming with shows like House Rules, Farmer wants a wife,First Dates,Kitchen Rules etc, all good shows in their early time slots but fair dinkum dogs getting hair cuts and news services in prime time, a show on ABBA that goes over old news, just crazy programming whilst great drama shows like The Blacklist and The Resident are being screened at nearly midnight. Tonight 10/5 why is The Blacklist on at 11.30pm while repeat shows are on at 9.30 and 10.30 ?Who ever you are doing this wake up ! Thank goodness that the other channels are putting their programs on at adult viewing times .And 7 ,please don't give me that rubbish about ratings because I am 77 ...read more

I was very disappointed with tonight's The Latest news 15:Aug. When the news service started a few months back I thought it was terrific but it has really gone downhill. The two ladies who appeared on the program apparently to 'lighten things up' tonight were an insult to viewers' intelligence as well as being uninformed, even about cheese and lactose intolerance!
There is a dearth of good news services on television now, and I have just saved myself switching this one on!
My wife and I have been faithfull viewers of Ch 7 for many years however the comments and views expressed this morning by some left wing "bogon" from Brisbane regarding our Prime Minister discussing the way Local Council treat Australia Day, were completely out of line. I have no problem with anybody expressing their views but this particular person was "over the top". if the Brisbane moron reads his History books he will find that the first settlers DID arrive in this great country on January 26 whether he likes it or not. That date cannot be changed, but we should not have to put up with drongoes such as this person.
