My kids and I had a positive experience at Cliffhanger. They instructors conducted an intro session in a professional and respectful manner. They also ensured we understood how to assist climbers with going up and down in a safe manner.
Overall they were knowledgeable and accomodating. Highly recommend.
Hi, we did party recently, the gym itself is amazing , kids had so much fun, but the food catering provided by the owner of the gym was" poor, poor" literally poor, the didn't have enough food and also didn't provide the food for the adults, which was organize and confirmed with the owner of the Cliffhanger Gym and the Cruiser Bar and Cafe. Kids and parentswent home hungry, us as hosts of the part emberessed and the owner didn't to face us. This has never happened to us before, I couldn't beleive it that there are people out there running these businesses and be so unresponsible. I will never go back there, it's a shame that one of the better fun places in VIC is run by this person.
This place is massive, probably a good 5 meters taller than anything else I've seen in Australia. A bit tricky to find, it's in a huge sporting complex, which made parking a breeze.
The walls were 20 meters high, heaps of variety and very very soft floor.
The whiteboard in the foyer said the climbs/route were changed fortnightly, which is good, and the grades seemed relative, not like some gyms where they are just not consistent.
They also had a fantastic gear shop, with a range of brands that was pretty impressive.
All in all, I had a great time and thought the place rocked. Best I've been to. Worth a visit.
