Located in Surry Hills, the Clock Hotel prides itself on being a venue where time never stands still. Three bars on site cater to all different sorts of moods. If you want a relaxed night out where you can play a few games and select your own tunes from the jukebox, opt for the pool bar. Meanwhile, the street bar captures the good old fashioned pub atmosphere, where you can order a quiet beer and watch the world go by. For a more sophisticated experience, step out onto the balcony bar, with an extensive cocktail and wine list on offer, you will be spoilt for choice.
Well, if you are looking for a nice quiet place for a drink on a Friday night, then unfortunately this place isn’t going to work all that well for you. Sure, I actually quite liked it, particularly with the selection of beers they had, but this place was absolutely packed. Actually, it was so packed that it was almost impossible to find a seat. However, that doesn’t mean that the place was bad – it was actually pretty cool, at least in my opinion. It was a great place, though not really all that relaxing.
Great bar to hang out with friends in Surry Hills. It's huge with lots of seperate areas, so you can spread out and book private spaces too.
But it gets really really busy, so you'll be standing most of the night.
And closest public transport is central station which is a 10 min walk
