I have been a customer of cluse brothers Gawler for about 15 years, I started using them back when they first started next to the the cake shop on Adelaide road, the staff were friendly and the service was excellent, I have just decided to stop using them (not that they will care), the new management are always stressed are arrogant and rude, they never inform you of details and treat you with contempt, recently I took my car in to get tyre replaced, they told me the rim was cracked, they never changed the tyre and did not inform me of any danger, I have been driving the car on the free way with my family in the car putting there lives at risk as i was unaware of the danger.
I took my tyre into Cluse Bros for a simple slow leak repair & they couldn't even fix that. They told me they couldn't fix what they couldn't find. I promptly took my tire into other service station and they found the slow leak simply by looking at the tire & had it fixed on the spot & Cluse Bros couldn't even find the leak. The leak was from a plug that Cluse Bros had put in from a previous puncture repair.

These people have fitted tyres twice for me, first time they charged more than they quoted me - justifying this by claiming it was more work than they thought.
Second time they scratched a brand new 18inch rim while balancing it.
Little wonder they have worked out of a tin shed for years while thier competition has thrived.
They might be a little cheaper but you still only get what you pay for - I gave them a second chance but they won't be getting a third
Update to my review...Cluse Bros Smithfield took full responsibility for scratching my rim. They have already forwarded me enough money to have it repaired and will refit and balance the tyre when it's done. I respect that approach to business so it seems they have earned a third chance after all.
