I needed a "blue slip". Oh, what a nightmare. Robert ( the owner ) was totally unfriendly and telling me, first we need an "Import-Plate" which takes 6 - 9 weeks. He also couldn't find the month where our car was built to get this 'Import-Plate". So he told me, I brought in a car to Australia, which is not allowed to drive at all. I found another garage with very helpful and friendly people and within 2 days I got our 'Import-Plate" send express from Melbourne and a day later our "blue-slip" - and now I enjoying the roads of NSW. By my opinion: Robert doesn't deserve even "half a star", because this "Story-teller" has no clue at all and is a waste of time!!!
I required a blue slip & my regular mechanic does not do them. He said that my car required new rear brake drums & the brake cylinders were leaking. The brakes had been inspected already & they were OK. I needed the blue slip so got him to repair the axle seals & the transmission pan leak that I knew were leaking. 4 days later the axle seals & transmission pan were leaking again. I got my regular mechanic to look at them, he found the wrong axle seals had been used. They had been glued in to hold them in place , the transmission pan bolts were loose & there was too much oil in it. Do not trust this man or let him touch your car!
ERRIBLE SERVICE QUALITY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE! I have recently had my car "fixed" at Robs shop and have been treated terribly by the man himself. After charging $250 to not even fix the problem, he hang me out to dry as soon as I enquired why it was going to cost me $1000 to fix an 'issue' that had been dealt with by a separate mechanic. After being extremely polite and simply enquiring if the problem he thought it was might not have been the real problem he said that he no longer was working on my car and that he was only working on it prior as a favour for a friend.
Never have I been so upset over customer service in my life. Never again will I go to this mechanic!
Very unfriendly staff. Got scoffed at when I asked if the bald man could print out my rego papers so he could do a blue slip inspection. The bald man said "why should i do it for you?" Talk about customer service and trying to help out. In my opinion pathetic attitude.
