Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner from early til late at night, Coco Cubano is a haven for chocolate and coffee lovers alike. Seating spills out onto Taylor Square, making it an ideal spot for people-watching whilst sipping a delicious coffee drink and enjoying a sweet treat fresh from the kitchen. Open til late, it's perfect for a post-movie beverage or chilled night with friends.
They cover all bases here, brekkie, lunch, dinner, kids meals and, drum roll...alcohol! The cocktails are fun and very tasty, There's a real tropical theme about this place, in both the decor and the menu. I recently had Cuban Eggs Benedict which was a very filling twist in traditional eggs Ben, this one had pulled pork added, so it was Delilah, with just the right amount of spice. Staff are always warm and fun and the prices are very fair. Worth a visit.
I love coming here on a nice sunny day sitting outside with a coffee and people watching. The location of this place is great (or worse, depending if you like a more quiet spot away from the traffic), and the staff are friendlier compared to other Coco Cubano I've been to. Their haloumi dish is great, and their coffees are always consistent.
COCO! COCO CUBANO! Ok I haven't eaten here because where there is alcohol, I don't really partake in food. (eating is cheating). BUT I did share some cocktail jugs here with a mate. So here's the deal: Coco Cubano sits all pretty right on Taylor Square. It's got a big open outdoor seating area that looks over the lovely centre of Oxford Street. The hustle and bustle of party (post and pre) surrounds you in all directions and gives Coco cubano a perpetual party feel. The interior design is warm, comfortable and elegant. It is very Cuban (obviously) and covered in cool memorabilia that sings Cuban revolution, dance and party culture. I love the vibe. The drinks are a bit pricey but mixed really well. You want to have a tropical drink there. Why go to a Cuban themed place to drink wine and beer? There are also nice outward facing couches so you can enjoy the colorful state of Oxford Street while sipping mojitos. Magic in summer. The staff here are... omg i love them. They'reread more
