unfortunately the owner of this cafe (who also owns mochas joes almost next door) has closed coco's and it is being converted into an asian cafe by new owner, which is a real shame as kingsway cafe strip is nearly all asian eateries now, so not very much variety. any gift vouchers the new owner will acknowledge. being renovated at moment which also seems like a waste as it was already modern and funky, and only renovated a bit by previous owners not long ago
great interesting home made dips again- this visit beetroot, coriander, chilli, garlic, spring onions flavours. always 2 on plate but 3 would be better in case you dont like one of dips, also prefer the pita bread you get with it rather than parmesan lavosh you also get with it, as its always over cooked and burnt and too crispy
its always so busy here andn noisey it would be better if they had cutlery in tin or alike on tables for you to reach yourself for what you needed rather than relying on already flat out bus staff having to bring it over or you getting their attention for extra cutlery, same for pepper. they always set cutlery out for you which i think is unecessary at a cafe (only diners at posh fine dining restaurants are impressed about this kind of thing I would think)
coffees are very frustrating here, never gret, often OK, and sometimes not great (burnt etc). cant wait for a time when cafes display their animal welfare stance rather than on specials board waygu beeef $35 - 600 days grain fed scows are not supposed to be fed grains they eat grass it is not healthy for them or us)
