What i like about this place was breakfast was available almost all day, well up until 3pm. We had a plate of smashed avocado and the veggie brekky which included mixed of mushroom, baked beans, avocado, tomatoe and spinich on bread. This was washed down coffee. Food was nice, service was quite slow and had to remind the waitress a several times we were waiting on some sauce which was frustrating and felt like we were either ignored or she simply just couldn't remember with the number of poeple they had at the cafe.
We ordered 2 small flat white coffees and one was served in a dirty cup with lipstick all over one side.We then waited over 30 minutes for a Bruschetta and a Dip Platter.
Nothing too difficult you would think. However, the Turkish bread was rock hard apart from a couple of pieces and the whole thing was very unappetising.
It was not busy and there were a lot of staff apparently there to work.
What has happened this used to be a pretty good place to go but based on today I will definitely not be going back.
VERY DISAPPOINTING IF I COULD SCORE ZERO I WOULD.
I recently came across the café when out with a friend and whilst in search of somewhere new for a coffee and lunch.
Upon entering the café was warm, and the smells were fantastic. The staff were friendly and happy to chat to us on arrival.
We looked at the menu boards for a bit, the ordered coffee and sat down. After ordering our food we were brought our coffees.
They were well presented and tasted fantastic. When our food arrived, my hot wedges were piping hot and tasted great. My dining companion, however, had to return to the front counter and ask for one of the ingredients to be added to her focaccia as it had been forgotten. I think from memory it was feta cheese. Mistakes happen though and we will call this an accident.read more
Past experiences have been really good although it appears the place has significantly dropped it's standards. The food was good enough although other issues noted were:
1. After ordering food and drinks, once the drinks had brought to the table, I was told I had payed for a small when I had actually ordered a large and needed to pay the difference for their mistake. I've never come across paying for a waiters mistake before.read more
