This was our local Coles while living here. The store usually had what we were after. The produce was always lacking slightly by either not enough stock or just being a bit old/limp but could generally get what you were after in a good condition. The deli was good and the seafood which we did buy a few times. Staff were helpful.
I have always found the employees at this store just great however it's the store policies I take issue with. Was shopping there yesterday and went to buy jam. I only purchase Dick Smith Jams because this product totally supports Australian farmers and any profits are given to charity. The most recent donation was to drought affected farmers. To my dismay the only Dick Smith Jam was Marmalade, which would have to be the least popular. As a responsible corporate entity who wishes to be seen giving back to the Community, I would have thought all Dick Smith products would be placed in a highly visible area. Please do this and also with their Tomato Sauce etc and provide the full range. Can you also stop purchasing imported seafood when we have a wonderful seafoods industry at our doorstop and the same applies to fruit and vegetables. I and I hope lots of other people will not buy these imported products.Coles show by doing these things that you areread more
Had decided to swap to Coles instead of my usual store to take advantage of fly buys offers...
Might have to rethink it. Lots of flybuys specials not on the shelves and your bananas are all over ripe and spitting. Your green grocer told me they had just been put out - 10's of boxes of over ripe but not over cheap prices... Get bananas every shopping trip...May have to go back to my usual store.
