After an accident only ever use a hire car company recommended by your insurer - and they don't recommend these sharks. They're only after a quick buck from people's misfortune.
I agree with the previous comment from Mr Agu. The claims don't live up to the reality. In a nutshell I was promised a replacement vehicle after a no-fault accident I was involved in. The appointment for repairs was a whopping 5 weeks from the time I was successful in my claim however no vehicle was organised.
Luckily I rang CC the day before my repair work just to double check and they advised me no knowledge of my claim???
I had to re-schedule my repair work for a month, inconveniencing both the repairer and myself.
Terrible customer service.
I do not recommend this service at all. They lie when they say within 24 hours you will get a replacement vehicle organized. I was informed my claim was approved and that i will receive a call from them to organize the replacement car the day before i drop my own car off for repair. No call came. I had to call them myself then was informed everything was approved. I had to call them again on the day i brought my car in for repair because no one from Compass Claims showed up with my replacement vehicle. They told me there were no available cars for me and that they would call me as soon as one comes up. The lady on the phone didn't even say sorry and made it sound like it wasn't a big deal! I had to taxi it home from the repair shop. Bad communication and bad service. Very disappointing. I would vote 0/5 if i could
