Cowes Caravan Park is ideally located 'Right On The Beach', 1 km west of the Cowes township. Facing a quiet bay beach with fine sand, it is the perfect family holiday location, with sparkling shallows providing endless entertainment for younger family members. It is also ideal for swimming, wind surfing, sail boarding, small yachts, boating, snorkelling and shore-based fishing. Boat ramp access is available 250 metres from the park and moorings available if required. The unique aspect of this beach is its warm north facing aspect, rarely found in the world. Cowes Caravan Park is centrally located to all attractions, only 10 minutes by car to the Penguin Parade, Seals (Nobbies), Grand Prix Circuit, Churchill Island, the Koala Conservation Centre and famous surf beaches. Also, being only 1 km from Cowes, a leisurely stroll can be taken along the beach to the many restaurants and cafes. The park is situated on 10 acres of beautifully maintained parkland, with tall shade trees, flat grassed sites, and most with a view of the water. We have a well equipped camp kitchen, recreation hall (open fire), playground, excellent amenities, babies bathroom, disabled facility and laundry. Pets are welcome off season (on sites only). A great family spot to stay! The beach is right there and the cabins we stayed in were immaculately clean and had all the amenities needed aside from linen, pillows etc which is BYO or you can rent it from the park at a small cost. There is a playground on-site as well as a communal hall with a table tennis facility. Reasonably close too all the action of Cowes as well. Will stay here again when I head to Phillip Island next.
