Crown Airconditioning

I unfortunately paid $700 cash for a rep come in and spray 3 units. The proviso was that they were going to regass one of the units and after 4 missed appointments and numerous phone calls, they quoted a lot of money to which we declined. We would advise stay away from Joe and his subcontractor Mounzer from Aqua Stream Cooling.

Had a Dakin split system installed and it worked fine for a year or so but has started making a clicking sound when it’s turned off. Have tried contacting them multiple times but emails etc have been totally ignored. Was happy with installation but won’t be using them again.

Be very careful when dealing with this company. In fact, I would not recommend anyone else to do so to avoid what has happened to us.
Bad experience starting from the sales process being sold a solution that according to their Installer was illegal, advised to install a pump option which was a disaster (twice) and finally cutting through our wall (at our cost), or they would not have proceeded with another of their options of installing a condenser pipe under the house to the garden to enable use of the airconditioner. This is now 4 months later, it doesn't end there, a few weeks later water is gushing from the front of the unit due to a blockage in the pipe all over the furniture. Call them again, it's a blockage due to dust - what a joke! Don't deal with them is all I can say. I wanted to give a zero star rating but did not have that option. It is not worth even a one star.

AVOID this company.
Nice sales guy, Giuseppe, but installation of top-model airconditioner was VERY unprofessional, the installation guy even turned up on the WRONG DAY. Installation was quoted as being "5-10 days" - I had to chase them up after about 10 days to see what was happening, at which point the sales team said they were not sure how long it would take, in reality!

Was also sold on the fact they had an in-house warranty included. Nope. This is just a manufacturer warranty that they will CHARGE A SERVICE FEE ON ANYWAY

I was initially shown the bad reports on Crown air conditioning by a neighbour who added a negative post himself. So I rang the people he suggested who wanted a deposit over the phone without seeing the job. Two others never returned my call.

In desperation I rang Crown who had moved to Tullamarine. A lady booked a time for a site visit. Robert came and advised us on 2 Daikin machines. We signed up the next day. Frank the supervisor appointed the installation and the installers came and finished the job in one day. I was amazed to see them clean up and take the rubbish and boxes away. They even showed us how to use the remotes. Old fashioned service and curtesy gets Crown top marks.
