We enjoyed a fabulous day here with the family. We had to catch the train to go around as it was so much walking but that was fine and a lovely way to get around. The animals were all just lovely to see. You are able to feed the kangaroo’s although by the time we got to them they were all very full but still I haven’t been anywhere else that offered that experience. Also a fabulous lorikeet feeding session which I really enjoyed, very noisy! I really recommend if you are a fan of animals.
Great for a family visit. Cheapest of all the family theme park type of places. Concessions available. Can be quite a relaxing place. I'm sure the whole family will enjoy a day out here. You can purchase food or bring your own picnic, which makes for an even cheaper day out. Great animal shows with audience participation. Great gift shop for tourists. A Gold Coast icon must see.
Wonderful place to visit for young and old. Each day they have shows if you can make them. On the day we went we missed the rainbow lorakeet feeding but made it to the koalas and bird show down the other end. It's a surprisingly big Park so if you can't walk or even if you can think about taking the free train for a ride. I highly highly recommend the high ropes course if you are up for a bit of adventure. They have low, med and hard (we didn't make it to hard as we were exhausted from the others). The courses take you over some of the enclosures which is wonderful. Great day out
Unfortunately, not a great experience. A lot of walking! and very few benches to sit and rest for the young and old. Not enough toilets, not enough tables at the food kiosks/cafes, not nearly enough drinking fountains (saw one), esp when walking in the heat. Waited for ages in a long queue to ride the train back to the main side of the park and only 6 people got off! Who knows how long it would have taken to work to the front of the queue at that rate. disappointing.
