Customs House offered a sophisticated table lit dinner with a beautiful view of the Story Bridge. The waiters were very attentive, ensuring to refill our drinks before they touched the bottom of the glass. The food was definitely hit and misses. I didn’t quiet enjoy the kingfish entrée but I absolutely loved the gnocchi. Overall it was a fantastic experience, I would highly recommend to anyone considering trying this restaurant for the first time.
This heritage building had the most gorgeous view of Brisbane's Story Bridge. I dined in the outdoor courtyard where the bridge was lit up with its luminous lights. The food was delicately prepared - I loved the mushroom gnocchi and I found out the mushrooms are grown in their own cellar!
The venue is lovely, with a mushroom cellar and amazing view of the Brisbane river and story bridge. The dishes are delicious. I tried the mini apples stuffed with pulled pork, tomato tarte tatin and eye fillet steak. The tarte tatin was a little too sweet for my liking but great pastry and balsamic reduction. The eye fillet - wow!
Amazing view, great service & delicious quality dishes~ had the pleasure of coming here with a group a foodies and got taken on a tour to check out the mushroom cellar in the basement area.
Had citrus cured kingfish for entre which was refreshing. And of course I had to order the mushroom gnocchi which was generous in serving and packed full of flavours. The gnocchi was soft and fluffy in the inside and crispy on the outside. The variety of wild mushrooms were a great addition to the dish.
