Shopping Christmas eve!!!!.....Children's wear Dept. shopping for a dress for my granddaughter who is nine years old. I, by the way, am 81 years old and on a mobility scooter, we could not,
for love nor money find any dept.assistant to take our purchase, let alone help us with fitting or
any type of customer service. After 3/4 hour trying on various styles that we pulled from the racks, we finally decided to take a beautiful little white lace frilled top brand dress that she liked. I like David Jones store and have shopped for years in Sydney but was so disappointed with the attitude they have to paying customers here in Tuggerah. Get your act together ,and give us a little old fashioned service.....

Very nice store - very very upmarket and I must admit not a store I shop at very often - really only drop in for the technology section, but, having said that I still like to have a bit of a browse around and see what else is for sale. The staff are very helpful, the store is contained over 2 floors and sells homewares, kitchen items, books/stationary, technology, manchester, appliances, TV's camera's and phones. There is even a restaurant/cafe located inside the store. If you are looking for a decadent sweet treat, or you want to spoil or impress someone special you need to look at the handmade chocolates section - it's *to die for* :-) The whole food section is great as they have items from the UK, US, New Zealand - tea's, coffee, biscuits and sweets and is a great place for that unusual or different gift.
