We had a new (expensive) TV antennae installed by one of the major companies but later discovered that during the normal daily bay-breezes at Ormiston, we had constant screen pixilation and regular total loss of picture during storms that were near or even long distances from our home. The installer eventually came back and sold us some new cable but then told us that because we were in a bad reception area, nothing more could be done to fix the problem.
After making local enquiries we were recommended to contact David at D C T V in Redland Bay and he came promptly and knew exactly what suitable antennae and booster to install and our problem was Solved (and at much less cost than we were charged by the previous company).

Recently had bad reception on Channel 7. Had 2 of the big company's come out and they could not or did not want to fix. Called DCTV who was recommended by the folk at the Cleveland Bowls Club. Very nice people who after 4 visits identified issues with a flood light at our block of units. Contacted body corporate who engaged a sparky to fix. I think we all need to support our local tradesmen.
Supply & install of a new antenna & other bits. After a week or so, major issues with pixilation & loss of signal. He refuses to come back & check it, saying that it's not the equipment but is interference form something else... Issue mainly happens when it's windy.... ??? Very disappointed. Now have to pay more money to someone else to come & sort it out.
I have never refused to go back to any job. This is a malicious attempt by competitors to rubbish a good local businesses.
True Local should remove this rubbish!
I'm definately not a competitor. I'm a very disapointed customer. And David definately refused to return to the job. I ended up having to replace the antenna he used as it was the wrong one for our situation. Costing me more money. Looking through all David's reviews, on other review platforms, any bad ones he says are competitors trying too rubbish him. A good excuse to cover up true bad reviews & a good way to try to get the review managers to remove negative reviews.
