I would give zero rating if possible. Detlev took 6 weeks to schedule a repair of a washer/dryer under Harvey Norman corporate care package. On the day of the appointment, I missed the technician's call by a few minutes (who called in 2 hours earlier than the scheduled appointment) and they had to push the appointment further by possibly another 2 weeks. Alex at the reception talks over the client, doesn't listen or respond to the concerns one has. Overall, very unprofessional, unaccountable and horrible service. They advertise for emergency repairs - imagine having to wait for months at end to get anything done through these people. I wouldn't choose them if I had a choice but Harvey Norman selected Detlev as a contractor. Please avoid at all costs.
On the basis of our experience with Detlev I wouldn't recommend this firm to my worst enemy. We had a problem with our eleven month old Bosch Dishwasher .... the staff arrived on time and were very polite. Unfortunately they didn't seem to have a clue what was wrong or how to fix it and, after fiddling around for half an hour advised that they had to return to their factory to look up the error codes that were displayed to find out what they meant and, if necessary, order any parts required. They didn't tell us how long this process would take.
