Never again! My Maltese Fox Terrier came home looking like a Fox Terrier, no hint of Maltese in him which has never happened before in his 9 years of being groomed. He was shorn! His tail was like a 4 inch stick with no long flowing hair that was not bad enough to shear. A wart on his back had been sliced off and she denied she did it (did he?) Another groomer pats dogs all over for lumps n bumps. And there was also blood on the top of a paw... another close cut!! On the way home, he cowered every time I tried to pat him. The worst grooming ever!!
Quite surprised at some of the negative reviews on here. I've been taking my dogs here since they opened. They've always been very helpful, kind to my pets and do a great job at grooming and fixing them up. They listen to what we need and can fit them in very quickly despite being busy. So glad they're around the corner and for their stellar service.
Made an appointment for my 2 dogs - lady on phone (Alex I think her name was) was friendly and informative. Upon entry the salon is simple but clean, don't really care for ridiculous doggy accessories anyway so was nice for it be quite simple. My malt x shih Sasha and cavalier spaniel Matilda require different "hair do's" and the groomer really listened to my requests. I'm pretty sure the groomer told me she has show dogs and you can tell she has more of an eye for detail than previous groomers I've been to. Overall was very pleased with the grooming service - my dogs look really well finished as opposed to being shorn off like sheep. Prices are reasonable, staff are friendly and most importantly dogs left looking and feeling a million bucks!
My mlt X shz has been attending Dezign the dog for at least 6 years I have nothing but praise for the excellent and professional grooming of my Maggie. She always smells so clean and looks a million dollars. She looks adorable when she comes out with her cute bows.
Alex is always pleasant and understanding to the needs of Maggie and a very nice person. I can see she luvs her dogs being her own dogs and the dogs of her customers.
Many of my friends go to Dezign the dog and they too are happy with the professional styling and caring groomer.
