This review may be helpful to anyone considering shopping at digital camera warehouse. I am about to leave for a month's holiday without my travel camera. Why? because the customer service from this business is non existent. No staff member has followed through with any promised phonecalls or any slight bit of interest in trying to communicate with me on the status of my camera repair. This is simply not good enough. I would not recommend them to anyone because of the non existing customer care!
Negitive: limited car parking available, dirty and dusty showroom.
Positive: very good range, excellent customer service in-store, online, and over the phone.
An item on display (which I ended up purchasing) was marked a different price to that of what was online. Surprisingly, they sold me the item for the lower price, and apologised for the confusion.
I phoned two or three weeks ago to get some information about a product of theirs and the guy who answered didn't sound particularly interested in my enquiry. He wasn't outright rude, he just didn't seem to care. Anyway I finally made it into the store and asked a frizzy haired male staff member if he had what I was interesting in purchasing. He was more than a little smarmy and treated me like I was merely an annoyance to his day. He was not forthcoming with any form of friendly conversation nor did he feel it worth his time to explain anything about the product or how it compared to other similar ones. The whole vibe of the shop was unfriendly and I was glad to be out of there.
