Modbury Dirty Dogs has obviously not been reviewed enough. It was my first visit there, and I will not be returning. It was my dog's first clip experience, and I have no doubt it was an upsetting one. My dog was handled with little care. He was clearly distressed when being dried, and this was not addressed. At one stage he was being stabilised by being held by the scruff of the neck. The hair cut itself was a terrible job -I could have done better myself. When not being interrupted by answering the phone, the groomer paid no attention to detail. Thankfully the whole wash, dry and clip was over in 15minutes.I will be visiting another groomer in future.
I am so sorry that you were not happy but I wish you could have told us at the time of your concerns. I know it is a bit stressful to see your puppy groomed for the first time and this is why most grooming salons dont allow you to stay and watch. I hope you are able to find another groomer that will suit you better. Your puppy only had a face and bottom trim and if you wanted more, again you could have said so at the time, although we discussed this and I suggested that a full clip would be too stressful for a first time puppy that was so young. we thought we were being extremely careful with your new puppy. Again I apologise if we caused you any distress over the matter. I would be quite happy to give you a full refund if you come to the salon. Genevieve
