I purchased a big tv along with several other items from Domayne Kotara. The Sanus full motion bracket turned out to be very unsatisfactory due to the amount of play at the point where it meets the tv. I consulted a technician who said it was a poor design. On approaching Domayne, the person who deals with returns told me I needed to contact Sanus, which I did. Their response was surprise that I hadn't been given a refund at my first visit to Domayne. Basically the information Domayne gave me was untrue. So after a call from Sanus to Domayne, I drove back again and was refunded. It I was sold an inferior product, told incorrect information and that I had to drive to the store an extra time uneccessarily. Considering our purchase history (around $9000) with this company, we should have been treated much better. I won't be buying there again
Customer service was terrible. I ordered a few things online and called up twice to see if they were in store ready for pick up. Both times I was told they would call me when they were in. I never received a phone call and then looked and found an email saying it was in store. then I went in there to get it and no one would help me. It was such a hassle for anyone to go out the back to grab my items.
Domayne Kotara is always a nice place to browse. There's interesting things here and many quite pleasant furnishings. You do have to chase a salesperson though, it's often difficult to find anyone on the floor. The electrical store is different, there are salespeople there, but the prices are much as you'd find anywhere else or even higher. Do come in and look around, but just keep in mind you may want to ask if they will price match.
Unfortunately I have found the service here to be dreadful. I have been into this store about half a dozen times over a period of a few years and have never been approached and have always had to go and ask for help ad then most of the time I have had to wait considerable time before I have been helped. The prices have been no better than any other major retailer. Not a big fan.
