Don River Railway

Fascinating!! Well worth a visit, caters to everyone - not just the locamotive enthusiasts. Happy and friendly staff, patient with visitors snapping away with the camera. We were even invited to sit in the drivers seat and pull the whistle. Informative tour guide, (only 13 years of age) great to share his enthusiasm for the engines and history. Enjoyable 30 minute return ride in 1st or 2nd class carriages.
