Have you ever lost sleep wondering what it would be like if you could combine a ghost ride tour, a gothic themed comedy show and a meal in one night out? Yes? No? Well, it doesn't matter anymore because if you did... you don't have to anymore.
'Dracula's Theatre Restaurant' in the Melbournian suburb of Carlton promises a night of fun for all participants and is one of the very last to remain out of the dying breed (har har) that is themed restaurants. They specialise in hosting kids parties, but parents don't have to miss out with a graveyard bar serving a wide range of ghostly cocktails to calm even the most nervous of parents.
Ring up and book and you'll be greeted by a Transylvanian hold voice (I'm not joking), before you're put onto a friendly operator who will help you organise a fun night ...read more

I have been Draculas a few times, and on this occasion was just an evening out as we were given tickets for my husbands birthday a few months back. Im glad that each time i have been is a different show so spanning out the visits over time is good as draculas is not a place to be coming back to so often. The ghost train gets me every time even thought know whats coming. The characters i must give credit with sticking to their character and theme for the whole night. The menu isnt top but is very reasonable for the price paid to watch a cabaret show. Like my last review the expectations of the night was the same. I couldn't ask for more of less as they delivered a great night full of entertainment. Looking forward to the next show.
I have now been to Draculars in total on 3 different occasions and thought I needed to add my reviews to this place. The very first time, it was exciting the ghost train ride into the place, waiting at the bar while waiting for them to take you to the designated seating, the setup of the restaurant, the show, the food. In fact I thought the show was spectacular. Over the coming years and returning on two more occasions, Im not sure whether its a result of seeing something one too many times, however the interest of the show wasnt as exciting anymore, yes the theme of the show did change, however is was quite average - in fact I thought the quality was quite poor. By the 3rd time round, the food was also no longer that spectacular. There is a high mark up on the cocktails and drinks. The ticketing price for a show I find quite high for what youre actually getting at the end of the day.
Absolutely loved Draculas. The performers were amazing and food was good. I went their for my 5 year anniversary with my now fiance and we are going to Draculas on the Gold goast as part of our honeymoon! Could not reccomend enough. I will be back to VIC Draculas in July of next year. I am flying me, my dad, my mum and my then to be husband down from Sydney just to see this perfomrance again!
