Drama With A Difference operates from Kew and Clifton Hill Victoria.
Drama With A Difference is one of Australia's leading, independent drama schools. With a history that spans more than twenty years, it is the launching pad of many extremely successful Australian actors. Our past and current students have appeared in major and guest roles in high profile feature films, television series and theatre productions. Our comprehensive website lists the names of some of the actors who began with us, and offers a list of the various film, television and stage productions that have involved our students.
The above makes Drama With A Difference the ideal school for the aspiring actor, however, we are equally committed to students who attend for recreational purposes, While some of our students do wish to become actors, others attend to gain greater self-esteem and confidence, meet like-minded people, or simply to have fun! Drama is a great form of stress release for all ages.
We run classes for children, teenagers and adults. They are divided into groups of children who attend primary school, secondary school and then those 18 and over. All out teachers who work with minors have current working with children checks, and our classes are run in a safe, nurturing and non-competitive environment. ...read more

I have undertaken many part-time drama courses, and without a doubt these are the best I've ever attended. The teachers are impeccably trained and highly professional. The classes are enjoyable and extremely informative. Most importantly for me, this organisation has been around for a long time, (over twenty years) and I can understand why. They are very ethical teachers who encourage their students without misleading them about how difficult the industry is. They encourage people in a realistic way - not just to get them to keep coming back. And even if you never go on to become a professional actor (they've taught lots of professionals), the school has performance classes so you can keep your job and take part in public performances.
