We are connected to two bottles of ELGAS for cooking, so we opened an account with ELGAS ten days ago. Customer service on most recent call was appalling. I called yesterday as discounts were not applied to my 1st 5 orders. Was told by customer service that prices charged were correct as gas prices fluctuate. She did not investigate the issue and was quite rude. It's called Customer Service not Customer rudeness. I would not recommend using this Company as your LPG supplier - I held an account with them for less than 30 days. I swapped to Elgas after poor customer service from Origin. When they delivered the 1st Bottle they advised I had a gas leak & the blocked my gas supply. I urgently paid for a Professional Gas fitter to come up to look for the leak. No leak ...read more
Would not recommend this company at all. Have been with them for the last 5 years, and they have been nothing but trouble!! Have only just disconnected (they couldnt even do that in 1 phone call, has taken 3 so far, 2 weeks and they still have not collected gas bottle) and they are still causing me grief. ELGAS thinks only of their convenience and is not considerate of their customer's predicament. This company think of their clients as nothing and they are the king who will dictate the day of the delivery but won't be open to any negotiation as for the time or even the part of the day they will come to you. ...read more
